Do shoppers have to checkout immediately after they have negotiated?

If you are on the free Basic plan, yes.

If you upgrade to either Professional or Premium plans, Nibble will let users decide whether to Checkout Now or Add to Cart at the end of each chat.

If they choose Checkout Now they go straight to the checkout page with the agreed discount applied, just like on the Basic plan.

If they choose Add to Cart from Nibble, your cart page (or drawer) will be updated with an additional Nibble Check Out button. This button shows the shopper their saving and allows them to checkout with the agreed discount at any point in the shopping journey. If the user continues shopping, they can then negotiate on another item. When they get to the checkout, the discounts will be stacked together, and they can checkout as normal. Users can also mix negotiated and non-negotiated items. This helps with multiple-item purchases.

You can also create Rules that encourage larger basket sizes on the Professional/Premium plan. For example, "Spend over $X and Negotiate." OR β€œAdd X items to your cart and Negotiate.” We provide signposting and product recommendations to help trigger these Rules, for example, β€œAdd one more item to get a special deal.” You can see a demo of these rules being used here (password: nibble)
