Nibble works based on Rules; from the admin panel, you can create an unlimited number of Rules and give them different priorities.
These Rules can apply to the whole store, a category or an individual product.
By default, Nibble is installed with one rule that is set as inactive.
This rule is a Whole Store rule with a Discount Threshold of 18% and a negotiation objective of Increase Conversion.
Activate a Rule
To turn this Rule on, click the toggle under ‘Active?’
Edit a Rule
If you’d like to edit a Rule, click anywhere on the rule bar or click on the three dots and click Edit. You can also Delete or Archive a rule.
Basic settings
Here you decide if you want Nibble to negotiate on your Whole Store, on
Product Categories, or Individual Products.
Once you select the appropriate option, you can search for Product Categories or Individual Products.
You can also set a time limit for Rules here if you’d like Nibble to stop appearing on products automatically after a certain amount of time (e.g. for a Flash Sale)
Behavioural Tools
This allows you to set when the Nibble buttons appear. The options are as follows:
All the time
Exit intent - when someone is leaving the page.
Page Visits - after a certain number of page visits to the page
Dwell Time - after a certain about of time
*Please note you can combine page visits and dwell time
Bundling and Add-on
Here you can offer a gift with the purchase in the chat to give customers one final nudge to convert.
Check help for more on how to use this feature.
Retargeting
Here you can allow a user to leave their email address in the chat. If they can't get a deal with Nibble, you can contact them after and manually reject or accept the final offer they made Nibble, or counter with your own final offer.
Check help to find out how to use this.
Create a New Rule
On your Nibble Dashboard, click Rules in the panel on the left side of the screen, and then click Ruleset to see all of your existing rules.
If you’d like to make another rule, click the ‘New Rule’ button at the top-right of the page.
