Part #1: Selecting the SKUs Nibble appears on Nibble can appear as broadly or as narrowly as needed. You can choose whether to deploy on your entire store, on product categories or on individual SKUs. In your Rule setup, select the preferred option in the dropdown menu. |
Part #2: Decide how and when Nibble appears Most of our retailers use Nibble's behavioural triggers. These let Nibble appear as a pop-up based on customer behaviour, rather than being always-on on the product page, meaning you can target only undecided customers who need a "nudge" to purchase. These triggers offer personalised pricing at exactly the right time, only to those customers who need it – reducing bounce and exit rates, and increasing conversions.
Note: If you are on our Starter plan, you will need to upgrade to take advantage of these tools.
You have four options in the Behavioural Tools tab in your Rule setup page: 1. Dwell time: Let Nibble make a special offer to customers waiting on the PDP without adding to basket. Retailers typically set the dwell time to wait for 10 seconds for best effect. Watch this video for an example: |
2. Page revisits: Some retailers with high-consideration products find that purchases often require multiple visits – and that if customers don't purchase within a certain number of visits, they never will. For Tentsile (click for full case study), Nibble appeared only after the 4th page visit – typically the last visit before users' likelihood to buy dropped off significantly – and delivered a 22% add-to-basket rate and £10,000s of sales in just three months, while giving away less than 8% in discounts. |
3. A combination of the two: You can set Nibble to appear both after a certain number of page revisits, and on a delay. 4. Exit intent: For desktop traffic only, Nibble can be set to appear when a customer is about to close the tab or window and offer them a deal before they leave. |
