Offering Nibble to specific customer audiences

Many of our retailers use Nibble to offer a special deal to specific customer cohorts, or to visitors from specific sources.

Nibble can be set up to appear only when a user clicks a unique link in an email or paid ad.

While all other traffic sees your normal store, visitors clicking these 'Magic Links' are the only people who see Nibble – and the only people able to negotiate their own prices.

Use case 1: Email Campaigns

Sending voucher codes via email is becoming less and less effective as customers become blind to the promotions they see every day.

Instead, offer your chosen customer cohorts the special ability to negotiate and create their own deal.

One retailer recently used Nibble as the call-to-action in an email to 20k lapsed and zero-purchase customers. They saw:

🤯 An open rate of 50+% - their best-ever to any cohort

👉 A click rate of 2% - a new record for these two cohorts

💰 Their best ever day of sales for the SKUs promoted in the email

...all at lower discounts than they would ordinarily resort to.

Use case 2: Paid ads

You can also use Magic Links in paid social ads. The increased click-through rate, increased conversion and reduced discounting combine to dramatically improve Customer Acquisition Costs.

For example, Transformulas (click for full case study) highlighted Nibble in an Instagram influencer marketing campaign over Black Friday 2023.

This campaign contributed to a 100% YoY traffic increase and a +13% site-wide conversion rate improvement.

How to set up Magic Links

Note: if you are on our Starter plan, you will need to upgrade to take advantage of Magic Links

1. Create your Rule you want to use for your Magic Link in your admin panel as normal, but leave the Rule off.

2. Click on Magic Links in the left pane of the admin panel, and click on New Magic Link in the top-right.

3. Select the Rule you created on this setup page, and give Nibble a product detail page to link to where it can display. This link must be to a product detail page, or the Magic Link will not work.

4 Click Save & Generate URL, and test that the copied URL displays Nibble. If you are unsure, contact us via the support chat on your admin panel to check it for you.
